Business Anthropology 1/15/19 Meetup

Please join us on Wednesday, January 15th for the second NYC Business Anthropology Salon, featuring the theme "Anthropology at Work: Proving Our Value."
Come to share and to learn about the specific ways anthropologists working in research, strategy, management, or policy roles apply anthropology in their work and the impact anthropological thinking has had on a range of businesses practices. During this event, we would like to highlight the work of our community members. We are currently looking for up to 3 presenters. We welcome case-studies that include and also go beyond ethnographic approaches. If you are interested in speaking at this event, please submit a 250-300-word proposal that includes the following:
Brief description of a case study that showcases your use of anthropological thinking/approaches in a business setting
Description of a concrete business outcome that resulted from this work
How was success of your work evaluated business side, especially if demonstrating “value” involved something other than metrics
